- riding my bike while listening to music that fits in exactly with my mood and surroundings so that everything around me is utterly harmonious. Today that happened while I was riding my bike through campus to get to class, under the shade of thick green trees, people surrounding me, and at a steady pace, all the while listening to Pavement's Spit On A Stranger. Perfection.
- getting into sociological debates with my house mates
- staring at the map next to my bed and memorizing the location, size, and population of every country.
- finding a great split end that's really fucked up and cutting it off
- nutella
- Biko dinners, Biko people, Steven Biko, Biko parties (sometimes), new Biko shower curtains, living in Biko, Biko house meetings (JK!!!)
- receiving letters in the mail from people who I love. Handwritten letters with trinkets,
pictures, or whatnot stuffed inside is so heartwarming, more so than an e-mail could ever be.
- Pam and Tanya because those are the only people who will read this entry
- and, of course, my el jay.

I have been sitting in the library for a good 2 and a half hours and have only written a page. But I'm pretty sure it's going to be impossible to fill up five pages about why gender is a social construct, so I don't know what I'm going to do since I'm already running out of things to say. oh well. but, winter break is in two weeks and three days and i am SO excited. I can't wait to reunite with my bests, and im hoping ill get an l sisterhood reunion because that would be chill. weird how college is finally turning me into like an actual lj writer, but now since lj is dead there's no fear. is there any good tv on tonight?

Today I went to the car wash without the knowledge that they actually clean out the inside of your car as well. So now you can all say goodbye to the yellow 3-inch dying soldier shaped puddy that I had on my dashboard for 2+ years. Although it was half melted, and many called it disgusting, I really really miss it, it became a part of who I was. Why would they clean away my memories?
